                                  URGENT REQUIREMENT
1) EMS Technician (Alarm Room Operator)



To provide and support a full Fire Control Room in a 24 hour response environment utilizing 

and operating all the systems within the control room, ensuring that all requests for assistance 

are attended to and that all electronic systems are operating to their optimum.Accountabilities
Monitor the DCS panels of all plant areas and ensure alarm activations have been
received properly. Respond to any alarm activation and dispatch emergency response teams wherenecessary Monitor & log all fire station activities, maintain fire equipment records and
emergency call records.Attend recommended formal training and demonstrate benefits by applying training in the work place.Mentor less experienced personnel to develop their capabilities.Understand and adhere to all Fire & Rescue Division’s Standard Operating Procedures Manuel. Ensure proper endorsement of incoming shift crew is fully maintained in the current
fire station status logbook and all significant events / or pass-down during previous
shift are recorded. Perform basic functional duties as a Fire Fighter involving fire prevention, inspections, and awareness of basic maintenance and responds to emergency under the direct
supervision of leading firefighter. Independence of Operation Works according to well-defined procedures and provides information accordingly. To acertain extent, involves independent planning and work prioritization. The incumbent therefore must be capable of deploying self-initiative and motivation. Keep the Leading Fire Fighter, Sub Officer, Station Officer, and Alarm Room Operator, as advised of work schedule / progress with completed work being checked. 2) Position: EMS Technician (Ambulance Driver) Role holders at this level should have sufficient knowledge and expertise to assume full duties
as Fire Fighter including the transportation of ambulant, non-ambulant and stretcher
patients, requiring to provide a responsive level of care and assistance, providing emergency
aid, where appropriate and in order to preserve life, prevent further injury or deterioration
and promote recovery. Perform basic functional duties as a Fire Fighter involving fire prevention, inspections, and awareness of control room operation, basic maintenance and responds to emergency under the direct supervision of leading firefighter. Conducts minor repairs to equipment and apparatus, performs routine inspection and preventative maintenance tasks, and keeps records of such action. Participates in training activities and instruction sessions and undergo further training and development in line with ITP and demonstrate benefits achieved through application in the workplace. Completion of self-study and with the assistance of other’s, becomes familiar with all street names and fire protection systems in the response area, as well as the location and operation of all equipment carried on Department apparatus. Transport and to attend to patients and clients within the care in accordance with policies and procedures Assist to ensure that the ambulance vehicle and its equipment and consumable stock is in operational readiness at all times and to report any defects in accordance with procedure Recognizing the need for advanced treatment and to summon help accordingly, or if no help is immediately available, managing the patient’s treatment to avoid further deterioration by providing correct and timely clinical interventions within the scope of practice. Assist the Division in fire prevention and education activities. Performs duties in a safe manner and reports unsafe activity and conditions. Independence of Work:

Keep the Leading Fire Fighter, Sub Officer, Station Officer, and Alarm Room Operator, advised of work schedule /progress with completed work being checked. 3) EMS Technician (Prevention & Protection): Role holders will be expected to be experienced in the field of industrial Fire & rescue and capable of undertaking the full range of responsibilities following a period of familiarization with Project equipment, policies & procedures and practices. Conduct Inspection, testing and maintenance of various firefighting equipment and fixed fire protection systems in accordance with Project established programs. Witness the functional tests on fire protection equipment / systems conducted by other disciplines and provide support as necessary. Participate in the fire prevention walkthroughs at all QG OPCO facilities and related expansion projects as per QG established fire prevention program. Participate in fire safety inspection of all QG OPCO buildings as per QG established building inspection program. Prepare test reports on a computer using division check list format and report on the systems / equipment status, test results, etc. of the inspected and tested fireprotection equipment and systems. Carry out basic repairs / maintenance for the fixed and portable firefighting equipment such as fixing minor leaks, replacing hydrants washers, greasing etc. Prepare monthly list of discrepancies identified in all systems and track / follow-up on actions taken on each. Update list of OPCO fire equipment inventory regularly. Assist / support in fire station housekeeping. Provide support during emergency exercises and drills, trainings, etc. Provide non-emergency response support to existing fire team during day-to-day activities.Assist in upkeep of all available fire appliances.Perform basic functional duties as a Fire Fighter involving fire prevention, inspections, and awareness of basic maintenance and responds to emergency under the direct supervision of leading firefighter. Independence of Operation:

therefore must be capable of deploying self-initiative and motivation. Keep the fire
protection officers advised of work schedule / progress with completed work being checked. 4) Pest Control Supervisor: B.Sc. Agriculture specialization in Entomology. Experience : 2 -3 years of experience in Pest control.
